Are "evolution wireless G2" systems ready for immediate use?

Yes, evolution wireless G2 100 & 300 series systems are supplied complete with all necessary units and accessories. Evolution wireless G2 500 series are sold as separate components. Your Sennheiser dealer will be able to assist you in your choice of components to ensure a complete working system.


You are offering evolution wireless G2 100, 300 and 500 Series ranges. What are the main differences between these lines?

The differences are in the number of available frequency presets The 100 Series has four presets in each of the nine preset banks, the 300 Series eight and the 500 Series up to 20 presets in each bank. and of course in the system features, i.e. the type of battery status indication, Soundcheck Mode, dual colour display etc.


Which evolution wireless receivers come with XLR sockets?

The EM 100 G2, EM 300 G2, EM 500 G2 and EM 550 G2, all have balanced XLR outputs. All of these except the EM 550 G2 dual receiver additionally feature unbalanced jack sockets. The EM 550 G2 has the added benefit of transformer isolated balanced outputs.


What is the configuration of the SK 100 / SK 300 / SK 500's bodypack transmitter jack input socket?

The evolution wireless G2 bodypack transmitter can either be used with electret condenser microphones or guitar cables:

Connector tip: microphone input
(supply voltage and signal)
Ring: guitar input (with limiter)
Sleeve: ground. 


How many evolution wireless receivers does an NT 1 mains unit power?

The NT 1 is able to power up to four receivers and four AB 2 antenna boosters via an ASP 2 Antenna splitter.


What is the operating time of evolution wireless transmitters?

All evolution wireless G2 transmitters have an operating time of more than 8 hours with 2 x AA alkaline manganese batteries . The only exception is the SKP 500 G2 plug-on transmitter. With 48V phantom powering switched on, its operating time is approx. 5 hours.


I want to connect my evolution wireless rack-mount receiver to a PA amplifier. How should the cable be wired?

The evolution wireless receivers feature both balanced and unbalanced outputs. If you connect the receiver to an unbalanced amplifier input, you should take a level loss of 6 dB into account.
