Whether it's plugging into the latest hip-hop riffs via MP3 or immersing themselves in the latest DVD on their Titanium notebook PC, today's young, hip and mobile are buzzing about the headphones that match stellar sound with a trippy, downtown style.

Sennheiser's new HD 477 and HD 497 will be introduced at CES 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada and are the latest models in the company's adrenaline-laced 400 Series. Developed to bring the famous Sennheiser sound to a younger, on-the-move market, the 400 Series is highlighted by stylish design and affordable price points. SENNHEISER PX 30 AND PX 40 MINI-HEADPHONES DELIVER SENNHEISER QUALITY TO PORTABLE PLAYERS
Sennheiser Electronic Corporation will introduce the PX 30 and PX 40 mini-headphones at CES 2002. The open, dynamic, supraural headphones provide high-fidelity playback for the growing portable CD and MP3 player market. Optimized for rock and pop music, they easily outperform conventional mini-headphones due to superior design and clear dynamic sound reproduction. Both units are lightweight and ergonomically pleasing for hours of fatigue-free wear.

The PX 30 boasts an exceptionally wide frequency response of 30Hz to 20kHz. The PX 40 betters that specification, delivering gut-rumbling bass down to 20Hz. Both units use a bass tube to achieve their clean, rich low-end while maintaining a diminutive size. A one-meter cable and 3.5mm stereo jack connect the headphones to a suitable portable device. The PX 40 also comes with a convenient, in-line volume control.

"As the sun sets on the age of portable cassette players, portable enthusiasts are finding the increased fidelity of CDs and MP3s lost though most low-fi portable headphones," noted Rob Douglas, product manager for headphones and medi@coustics, SEC. "The PX 30 and PX 40 meet the demand for truly faithful reproduction in a portable package, and their two-year guarantee further separates them from the crowd."
