| Exclusive and personalized: the HME 100-SE-2 special edition for private pilots |
An elegant silver and black design combined with optimum wearing comfort: the HME 100 pilot´s headset from Sennheiser is available as a special edition for private pilots from the end of April 2006. The HME 100-SE-2 will be produced in an exclusive limited edition of just 2000.
Thanks to its outstanding passive noise attenuation, the HME 100-SE-2 is ideally suited for pilots of propeller planes. The ear protector cups completely enclose the ears and, like the headband, are softly padded and extremely comfortable. As an exclusive feature, this special limited edition allows pilots to personalize their headset by adding their name tag to the headband.
The passive headset attenuates noise by up to 40 dB, and the advanced transducer design ensures excellent speech intelligibility. Pilots can adjust the volume quickly and easily directly at the headset using the integrated volume control. The boom microphone can be worn either on the right or left-hand side and is noise-compensated to ensure optimum speech transmission. The HME 100-SE-2 is connected by a 6.3 mm jack plug (headphones) and a 5.25 mm jack plug (PJ-068, microphone).
The special edition HME 100-SE-2 will officially celebrate its debut at the International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) in Berlin from 16 to 21 May, but will already be available in the shops from the end of April.
