German audio specialist Sennheiser has won a major order from the private Spanish TV station Telecinco for its wireless microphone systems.  Around 150 channels of the top 3000 and 5000 Series will ensure reliable wireless transmission and top-quality sound at Telecinco from 2005 onwards.

Together with the purchase of the microphone systems, Telecinco has also signed a comprehensive service package.  That not only guarantees optimum frequency planning for the TV station by Sennheiser specialists, but also provides continuous maintenance for the products in the future.  Sennheiser's 3000 and 5000 Series microphone systems are the industry's standard in terms of frequency flexibility, which means that the usual high-quality transmission will be guaranteed even under the difficult conditions faced by the users of wireless systems in the era of digital TV broadcasting.

Alfonso Ortiz, one of the directors of Sennheiser's Spanish partner Magnetron, said: "We are very pleased about the trust that Telecinco has in our products and our service.  In the professional sector, Sennheiser technology is the standard against which other systems are measured.  This order from Telecinco is our biggest single order so far for radio microphones."
