Paulo Nuno Vicente is an assistant professor of digital media at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (Portugal). He founded and coordinates iNOVA Media Lab, a digital practice-based research laboratory at the convergence of creative digital media and emerging technologies. The lab is anchored around six key thematic areas, amongst which Immersive and Interactive Narrative. Paulo Nuno Vicente and Dreamscape team members are particularly interested in the interdependence of immersive narrative and cognition structures. The opportunity for developing an innovative application in partnership with a leading audio technology company was a key motivation in joining the AMBEO Augmented Audio Developers Program, as well as enhancing the community of creative developers in the field of augmented audio.
