Transforming Conference Communication: Hokuyaku Takeyama Adopts Touchless Microphone System TCC 2 with TruVoicelift

The challenge

As a health care company, Hokutake is involved in medical and nursing care and was very nervous about the spread of COVID-19. Handing a microphone from person to person at meetings was one of the first challenges that they needed to address when the pandemic hit.

The solution

Integrator LandSkip came up with a state-of-the-art conference system that included the touchless microphone solution TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC 2) that reduces hygiene risks and makes everyone be heard clearly, even in Hokutake’s larger conference rooms thanks to TCC’s TruVoicelift feature.

"With TCC 2, we don’t need to move closer to the microphone. And of course, there is no need to pass a handheld microphone. The whole process has become much easier."

Kuninao Hie, Executive Managing Officer and General Manager of Corporate Planning Department

Hokuyaku Takeyama Holdings, Inc. (Hokutake) has successfully navigated the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic with the help of TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2). Installed across multiple conference rooms within their facilities, the state-of-the-art touchless microphone solution played a crucial role in the digital transformation of the company’s conference system as it eliminates hygiene risks associated with passing handheld microphones and ensures clear communication, regardless of room size.

In the large- and medium-sized conference rooms, TCC 2’s TruVoicelift function is used to control the volume of any speaker’s voice to make it heard naturally around the room, from the first to the last row.

TCC 2 contributes to digital transformation of conference rooms at Hokutake

TCC 2 was a great choice for the conference system at Hokutake because the ceiling microphone is certified for Zoom. “We often use Zoom. Now that we have introduced larger monitor screens, it has become much easier to see the person on the other end of the line. I hear from our staff that the conference system is nice and convenient, with clearer graphics and higher performance in picking up sound. We can just show up in the conference room and start the meeting promptly. We don’t need to spend a lot of time on preparation or setting up anymore. Everyone is happy now. The new system helped us in the digital transformation (DX) of our conference rooms”, says Kuninao Hie.
