For hybrid meetings, the meeting room needs to connect people across locations while remaining comfortable and practical for those attending in person. At LH FUND in Thailand, this approach shaped a conference room installation combining ceiling-based audio, integrated video and centralized room control.
Vichai Trading (1983) Co., Ltd. was entrusted with delivering the audiovisual and control systems. Designed to support both internal meetings and remote collaboration, the conference room features Sennheiser
TeamConnect Ceiling Medium as its ceiling microphone solution.
Keeping the focus on the conversation
The room’s design brings speech capture into the ceiling, keeping the conference table free from microphone hardware. This leaves space for meeting materials and helps preserve a clean, organized environment without equipment obstructing participants’ views.
TCC M’s automatic dynamic beamforming technology adapts its pickup beam to the person speaking. Participants can contribute naturally without needing to lean towards a fixed tabletop microphone—helping the conversation flow around the table.
Connecting audio, video and room control
The installation combines TCC M with a Q-SYS system and 3 PTZ cameras to support hybrid meetings. An iPad interface brings audiovisual control together in one place, helping users manage the meeting setup.
Within this setup, TCC M provides speech pickup as part of the integrated conferencing solution. Its discreet ceiling placement complements the room’s interior while supporting conversations between participants in the room and those joining remotely.
