Singer Giu Mastrogiacomo has been active in the European goth rock and metal scene since 1997. In there the southern Italian cleverly uses his flair for dark and emotional music. But it´s not just dark, out of the lyrics and music colors speak again and again. Melancholy, longing, dreams and hope join hands. His band Kissin' Black deliver freethinking lyrics and authentic rock music. Southern temperament that meets the atmosphere of mist covered Swiss mountain landscapes. Their greatest strength is their extremely elegant way of crossing genre boundaries as if they didn't exist at all. Authenticity is maintained at all times. By bringing together seemingly irreconcilable elements, Kissin' Black create a very unmistakable own style: Dark Acoustic Rock . After the successful EP "Ever Enough?" from 2012 and the internationally acclaimed debut "Heart over Head" 2014, after a remix CD in 2016, Giu Mastrogiacomo has released the second full-length album called “Dresscode: Black” all on his own. A concept that alternately shows different facets of the colour black. The original compositions are characterized by their free spirit. And “Dresscode: Black” made it straight into the Top Ten of the official Swiss album charts! The powerful music with a lot of emotions is chasing through all nerve tracts. It´s deep and dark, always pleasant and attractive - yet never depressive. Kissin´ Black now proudly performs live with Sennheiser gear only.
