Sennheiser has partnered with smart Automobile, the forward-thinking brand redefining urban mobility, since 2024 to deliver an exceptional in-car audio experience in the all-new smart #5 mid-size SUV. Both brands share a commitment to innovation, precision, and emotional design. Together, we are reshaping the way sound is experienced on the road. 

 

At the heart of the smart #5 is a high-performance sound system powered by Sennheiser’s Concerto software with AMBEO technology. This proprietary technology, together with 20 high-fidelity speakers, transforms the cabin into a dynamic acoustic space, delivering rich, multidimensional sound that adapts to every journey. Whether navigating city streets or cruising on the highway, drivers and passengers alike are enveloped in a soundscape that enhances every moment behind the wheel.  

 

In 2026, smart will relaunch its iconic two-seater urban car. The smart #2 will be compact, agile, fully electric and will feature a Sennheiser sound system. Additional vehicle models with the Sennheiser sound system, including the #1 which is already available with a Sennheiser sound system in China, will enter the market.
