Regulations governing substances and materials are continuously updated to reflect scientific developments and legal requirements. We constantly work to meet applicable requirements in the markets where our products are sold and maintain processes to comply with relevant regulations. Two of the key requirements, REACH and RoHS, are described below.
Registration
As we are manufacturing products according to the REACH regulation, we are not directly affected by the registration. However our suppliers are subject to this obligation and we are working closely with them.
Substances of Very High Concern - SVHC
REACH requires companies to communicate information about Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) when such substances are present above defined threshold levels. Information provided under Article 33 of REACH is intended to support the safe use of products and to ensure transparency throughout the supply chain.
Packaging requirements cover topics such as material restrictions, waste prevention, reuse, and recycling. They also establish obligations for producers placing packaging on the market. Sennheiser meets applicable packaging requirements and registration obligations in the markets where its products are sold.
