Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG, Am Labor 1, 30900 Wedemark and its affiliated companies (with at least 50% direct or indirect shareholding) (hereinafter „Sennheiser“ or „we“) would like to offer interested clients the possibility to take part in our product and prototype tests.

Scope and purpose of the processing of personal data
With your participation, you transfer your personal data required for the organisation, accomplishment and evaluation of the respective test.
When you take part in a prototype or product test, we record your name, e-mail address, phone number, and postal address in order to be able to contact you in case of questions, to process any participant incentives, and/or to invite you to another test session.
The test sessions take place in person or via video conferencing. During the tests, your reactions are recorded via photo, audio, and/or video, in order for our product team to identify and make optimal use of the room for improvement in our test products.
Recipients of the data
The recordings are exclusively evaluated by Sennheiser and third parties therefore commissioned by Sennheiser (i.e. Georg Neumann GmbH ). There is no publication or transfer to other parties (except named third parties). Regarding the processing of your data by the commissioned third party named above, we have implemented adequate measures for the assurance of the legally required level of data protection by means of data processing agreements in accordance with the applicable law in particular Art. 28 para 3 GDPR.
Duration of storage
We store your name and your contact data after the respective test if you are interested in participating in further tests and we are allowed to contact you, which we explicitly ask for your consent to after every individual test and approved by you.
The contact data and, if applicable, the recordings of you are personal data in the sense of Art. 4 paragraph. 1 No. 1 Data protection regulation (GDPR). According to Art. 6 paragraph 1 GDPR.
During the test, we gather your feedback on your experience with the test product, the app or other test material. Your feedback is collected anonymized in the test. We delete, or fully anonymize, participant data including film recordings (via face-blurring, redaction of sensitive information from transcripts, and/or voice transformation) after the conclusion of the test and evaluation phase provided for the respective product, until 01/01/2026 at the latest.
Legal bases for the processing
The processing of the personal data such as name, e-mail address photo and/or video recordings (collection, storage and forwarding) is based on your express consents in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
Transfer of data to third countries
Your data may also be processed by us or by the aforementioned recipients in other European and/or non-European countries. If one of the above-mentioned data transfers is made to a recipient outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate level of data protection for the foreign transfer is guaranteed by suitable security measures, such as the EU standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR. If you have any questions about data transfers based on the EU standard contractual clauses, or if you would like more information about other security mechanisms and security measures for data transfers to third countries, please feel free to contact our data protection officer.
Right to object the consent
Consents to the processing can be withdrawn by the data subjects at any time for the future. This does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consents before its withdrawal.

As a person affected, you can assert the following rights:
Right of access, Art. 15 GDPR, right of rectification, Art. 16 GDPR, Right of erasure, Art. 17 GDPR, Right of limitation of data processing, Art. 18 GDPR, Right of data portability, Art. 20 GDPR, right to object the processing, Art. 21 GDPR right of complaint to the competent data protection authority, Art. 77 GDPR. Please note that prototypes are not final products. Therefore, we cannot guarantee certain characteristics and functions. Sennheiser is exempted from liability if the damage is not caused by grossly negligent or intentional behaviour on their part or on the part of one of their representatives. Violation of life, body or health poses an exception to this rule.

Declaration of consent for registration in the Test Pool for prototype or product tests
I hereby declare,
1. My consent to Sennheiser processing my personal data collected in connection with the product or prototype test described above (name, contact data such as e-mail address, phone number, postal address, and my feedback in form of photo, audio, and/or video recordings). This is only for the purpose of the product and prototype test, including the processing of any participant incentives. There is no use of personal data beyond the processing described above or transmission of personal data to third parties.
2. That I transfer the exclusive, unlimited, global license of all data and film footage related to the product and prototype tests to Sennheiser and that Sennheiser can commercially use, edit and sub-license my feedback or parts of it free of charge.
3. That the use of my personal data is on voluntary base and that I can revoke my consent to the use of my personal data with effect for the future at any time by means of written communication to Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG under the postal address 30900 Wedemark, Am Labor 1, or via e-mail (datenschutz@sennheiser.com). Revoking the consent does not affect the legality of the processing following the declaration of consent up until the moment of revocation.
