Located within Central Park Offices at Dusit Central Park in Bangkok, at work is a coworking space designed to support professional meetings and collaboration. Its meeting facilities combine contemporary interiors with audiovisual technology for a hybrid workplace.
Vichai Trading (1983) Co., Ltd. designed and installed the audiovisual and control systems for at work, tailoring the installation to each space.
The challenge
Meeting rooms of different sizes required an approach to speech capture that suited each space while maintaining a clean, consistent interior.
Within at work, meeting tables needed to remain available for laptops, documents and discussion. Ceiling microphones support this approach without adding equipment at each seat or interrupting sightlines between participants.
The solution
The installation combines two models from Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling portfolio:
TCC 2 for large meeting rooms and
TCC M for medium-sized meeting rooms.
This room-specific selection allows the project to retain a common ceiling microphone approach across different spaces. Both models move microphone hardware away from the table, integrating speech capture into the room while preserving usable work surfaces.
In the larger rooms, TCC 2 forms part of the conferencing installation. In medium-sized rooms, TCC M provides a compact ceiling solution that complements the interior. The result is a consistent design approach, with the microphone model selected according to room size.
Connecting speech capture with the meeting system
Speech capture sits within the wider meeting system, connecting the microphone installation with the room’s audio functions. For hybrid meetings, dedicated speech pickup is the starting point for bringing in-room contributions into the conferencing experience and helping remote attendees follow the discussion.
