Terms and Conditions for the competition “Help Us Understand How We Can Better Support Your Business”

 
From 08.09. – 21.09.2025, you may participate in a voluntary survey on Help Us Understand How We Can Better Support Your Business. Once you have completed the survey in full, you may enter our competition and have the chance to win one of the prizes listed below. The prizes consist of 6x MD 421 Kompakt (UVP 279 €), 6x PROFILE WIRELESS 2-CHANNEL SET (UVP 299 €), 10x HD 25 (UVP 149 €) and will be drawn on 22.10.2025.
 
The following General Terms and Conditions and the attached Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to this competition organized by Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG. By participating in this competition, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.
 

1. Organizer

 
The competition is organized by Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG, Am Labor 1, 30900 Wedemark, Germany (“Organizer”).
 

2. Who Can Participate?

 
a. Participation is open to any individual who is of legal age under the applicable laws of their place of habitual residence and is located in one of the participating countries.
 
b. Participating countries include the member states of the EEA (European Union member states including Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, India, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the UAE.
 
c. Employees of the Organizer and affiliated companies, as well as their employees, are excluded from participation.
 
d. Acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions are prerequisites for participation.
 
e. The Organizer may exclude participants from the competition if they attempt to influence the drawing in an unfair and/or dishonest manner.
 

3. How Does the Sweepstakes Work?

 
a. First, complete the online questionnaire available here: https://sennheisergroupcx.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_40kkddoivQ7VxJQ.
 
b. Second, visit the competition webpage. You will find the link at the end of the online questionnaire after submitting your evaluation.
 
c. You may then freely choose to participate in the drawing and provide your name and email address so that we can contact you in the event of a win.
 
d. Finally, after submitting your data, you will receive a confirmation email requesting verification. Please respond as instructed therein.
 

4. Procedure

 
a. The participant must read the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy in full. By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to these.
 
b. The participant must provide accurate contact information in the form of an email address and confirm that the address provided is correct.
 
c. Only participants who have completed the participation forms fully and correctly and comply with the competition´s Terms and Conditions are eligible to participate in the drawing.
 
d. Each participant may only enter the drawing once during the duration of this competition.
 
e. Any processing using automated procedures or similar devices is not permitted.
 
f. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals from the competition at any time who violate the Terms and Conditions and/or otherwise attempt to influence the drawing in an unlawful and/or inappropriate manner.
 

5. Place and Period of Participation

 
Participation is possible online at mautic.sennheiser.com/help-us-understand-how-we-can-better-support-your-business between 08.09. – 21.09.2025.
 

6. Procedure for Determining the Winners

 
After the end of the sweepstakes pursuant to Section 5, the Organizer will determine the winners on 22.10.2025 using a random generator from all participants who have previously declared their intention to participate in the sweepstakes.
 

7. Notification of Winners and Delivery of Prizes

 
a. The Organizer will notify the winners via email and request their full name, age, and address in order to send the prize.
b. If a winner does not respond to the prize notification email within 14 days, they will forfeit their claim to the prize or any other compensation, and a new winner will be drawn.
 

8. Data Protection

 
In the context of conducting the competition, personal data of the participants will be processed in accordance with the attached Privacy Policy (see annex below).
 

9. Independence from Purchase

 
Participation in the competition is not dependent on any purchase or payment to the Organizer. Furthermore, a purchase or payment does not affect the chances of winning. However, it is necessary to complete the evaluation in the online questionnaire. The chances of winning depend on the number of participants in relation to the number of prizes available.
 

10. Interruption or Termination of the Sweepstakes

 
The Organizer reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the survey and/or the competition at any time at its sole discretion.
 

11. No Cash Payment

 
Cash payment of the prize is excluded.
 

12. Liability

 
The Organizer shall be liable for intent and gross negligence. In the case of slight negligence, the Organizer shall only be liable for the breach of a material contractual obligation (“cardinal obligation”), the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on which the participant may regularly rely, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
 

13. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, Severability Clause

 
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and without regard to the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Any claims or legal proceedings shall be brought before the competent courts of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanover.
 
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
 
 

ANNEX – PRIVACY POLICY

 
The following personal data may be processed in the context of conducting the competition:
 
• Master data (e.g., first name, last name)
• Address data (e.g., street, postal code)
• Contact data (e.g., telephone number, email address)
• Individual data related to the specific competition
 
Processing is based on the participant’s consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
 
The data collected from the participant will be used by the Organizer solely for the purpose of conducting the competition, in particular for determining and notifying the winner and for sending the prizes.
 
The personal data will be processed independently of the responses provided in the survey and will not be merged with them.
 
There will be no use of the data beyond the purposes described herein, nor will the personal data be disclosed to third parties. In particular, the collected data will not be used for other marketing purposes.
 
The personal data collected from the participant will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. Deviating retention periods may apply due to legal requirements.
 
The participant has the right to withdraw their consent at any time with effect for the future (e.g., by email to datenschutz@sennheiser.com or by written notice to Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG, Am Labor 1, 30900 Wedemark, Germany). The withdrawal shall not affect any data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. Upon receipt of the participant’s withdrawal, the Organizer will immediately cease data processing to the extent of the withdrawal. The participant is entitled to revoke the consent given at any time with effect for the future by notifying the Organizer.
 
If the participant withdraws their consent to the use of their data for participation in the competition before the winner is determined, participation is no longer possible.
 
As a data subject, participants have the following additional rights vis-à-vis Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG:
 
• Right to information – the right to know what data is being processed and how.
• Right to rectification – the right to request the correction of inaccurate or outdated personal data.
• Right to erasure – the right to have personal data deleted.
• Right to restriction of processing – the right to restrict the processing of personal data.
• Right to data portability – the right to have personal data transferred directly from one system to another (in a machine-readable format).
