A Bristol based UK musician, Lewis’ music combines a virtuosic vocal to his honed lyricism and rhythmic styling. He is currently the resident artist at Pound Arts Centre in Wiltshire and plays exhaustively all over the UK touring scene. Lewis Clark & The Essentials became a fully-fledged band in September 2015 and released the album ‘Vinyl Love’ in 2016. The group combines their diverse and shared interests in native and world musics to create a dynamic and distinctive live sound. Their musical style draws on their love of rhythm and blues and explores an eclectic range of influences including traditional British folk, latin, American roots music and wider European traditions.
